The Tygarts Valley High School Jazz program seeks to educate students in the America's true original music, jazz.  This year, the group will be a full big band.  The band is an entry-level ensemble that teaches students the basic concepts, styles and the fundamentals of jazz and improvisation. This ensemble will normally perform throughout the year.
